Banana Popsicles


  • 2 bananas (halved)
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 4 big spoons melted coconut oil
  • 2-3 big spoons agave syrup/coconut blossom syrup (depends on how sweet you want your chocolate to be)
  • approx. 100 ml hot water
  • 2 paper straws (halved)


  • Put the straws into the bananas
  • In a bowl, mix the cocoa powder with the melted coconut oil, the agave syrup/coconut blossom sugar (or, if not vegan, also honey). This should create a very tough mass.
  • Gradually add hot water and stir constantly. Until a creamy, chocolate-like consistency is created. Attention: It should not be too fluid.
  • Then dip the bananas in the chocolate cream, or spread the chocolate on the 4 banana halves with a spoon. Attach the bananas to a flat plate with clingfilm. If you like, you can top your banana popsicles with nuts, peanut butter, crumble or chopped chocolate.
  • Then let the banana popsicles freeze for a few hours.
  • Take them out of the freezer and enjoy!
