Preheat the oven to 170 degrees upper and lower heat
Cut the bread into slices
Prepare the vegan egg according to the packaging
Mix the soy milk, vegan egg substitute, birch sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla sugar and salt in a bowl
Soak the bread slices in the liquid, then lay it layer by layer in a baking mold. If any of the liquid remains, just pour it on top
At the end, coat the top layer with half of the melted butter
Now put the mold in the oven and bake for 20 minutes
After 20 minutes, brush the top layer with the remaining butter and bake for another 25 minutes
