Nut-Crunchy with Apple Compote

Zutaten

Nut-Crunchy

  • 1 ripe Banana
  • 150 g nuts
  • 1/2 tbsp cardamom
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp honey/agave syrup/coconut blossom syrup
  • 1 small pinch of salt

apple compote

  • 2-3 sour apples
  • 1 tbsp (vegan) butter/ghee
  • 1 small pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp lemmon zest

Anleitungen

Nut-Crunchy

  • Preheat the oven to 150 degrees upper and lower heat
  • Puree the banana or mash it with a fork. Roughly chop the nuts
  • Mix the banana with the nuts, cinnamon, cardamom, honey/agave syrup/coconut blossom syrup and a small pinch of salt and spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
    Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the nuts are lightly browned. Mix and turn in between

Apple Compote

  • Wash the apples, remove the core from quarters and cut into narrow wedges
  • Heat some (vegan) butter/ghee in a saucepan and add the apples with a pinch of salt. Rub in the ginger and lemon zest and simmer on a low flame for a few minutes with the lid closed. The apples can still be firm to the bite.
